Colosseum is a pioneering British progressive jazz-rock band mixing progressive rock and jazz-based improvising. Daughter of Time is the fourth album by Colosseum, released in 1970. Louis Cennamo was in 1970 replaced Tony Reeves on bass, but he was replaced by Mark Clarke within a month.

Re-released in 1996 by Sequel and in 2004 by Sanctuary Records Group.
The 2004 re-release had "Jumping Off The Sun" (1971 Chris Farlowe version) as bonus track.
