Notes:

Joe's love for music started at a very young age. Singing before he was talking, it was clear that music would be a large part of Joe's life. By the age of 11, Joe had won several talent contests singing in front of large audiences on big stages. Growing up in a very musical family, Joe was exposed to a wide variety of musical genres, from Classic Rock to Country, R&B to Disco, Punk to Rap, Pop to Folk.

By the age of 17, Joe and his siblings were signed to Crave Records, a record label owned by Mariah Carey. In the middle of recording an album, Crave closed its doors and the record deal was gone in an instant. Over the next few years, while attending Rutgers University and Stony Brook University, Joe continued to write original material, performing at various venues and running open mics.

in 2003, he was signed to BadBeat records, owned and operated by Brian Mogelefsky, and he recorded and released his first studio album of solo material, Instant Gratification, which was produced by Bob Stander. Two of the songs, Original (Won't Send You Flowers) and "Full Moon Wasted" received substantial airplay on college radio stations all over the country.
