Avantasia is often referred to as a rock opera, as it features the participation of many renowned vocalists and musicians. The Mystery of Time is the sixth full-length album by Tobias Sammet's rock opera project Avantasia. The album is due to be released on 29 March 2013. This is the first Avantasia release to feature the German Film Orchestra Babelsberg, the same orchestra that performed on Edguy's album Hellfire Club. The cover artwork was painted by Rodney Matthews. Limited edition digipack CD contains two additional tracks, "The Cross and You" and "Death is Just a Feeling".
