Don Airey

De Nieuwe Pul, Uden, The Netherlands    January 25, 2009

After the show that Don Airey played last Thursday January 22 in the Netherlands he finished his short European Tour last Sunday in Uden. In between he popped over the border to Belgium to do a show in Verviers on Friday. On Thursday there were only about 125 people who found their way to the venue 'De Boerderij' in Zoetermeer. On Sunday Don had again to play for a very small crowd in the south of Holland. It was the last night of the tour.

René Veldhoen reports: Great evening last night! Don Airey in De Nieuwe Pul in Uden. There were not many people but that was not a reason to enjoy ourselves. The band exists of fine musicians. Great guitarwork and excellent keyboards. For a moment they look a bit disappointed because there were only a few people come to see this show. But halfway Airey told: "It's the quality that counts, not the quantity."

The set they played was the same as they did in Munich. After the show Don Airey told while signing autographs, they only had 2 days of rehearsals and then they went on the road. The fans who stayed home made a mistake...
