 Rising began playing in late 1998 and keep paying tribute to Rainbow until today providing quality shows for any fan of this legendary band. On Saturday June 9th I traveled seven hours by bus from my country Argentina, to attend the show of Rising, (pioneers in paying tribute to Rainbow in the country of Chile) and I can assure you it was worth it! The band members were going one by one onto the stage and the show began with the classic introduction "Somewhere over the Rainbow" to proceed immediately with "Spotlight Kid" with a powerful and sublime performance by the entire band. You could close your eyes and imagine facing the reincarnation of the band by Ritchie Blackmore. I appreciate that Rising exists in South America and thanks to them could kept alive the colors of the Rainbow. Long Live Rising! El pasado sábado 9 de junio viajé 7 horas en bus desde mi país Argentina, para asistir al show que diera Rising, (pionera en rendir tributo a Rainbow en el país de Chile) y les puedo asegurar que valió la pena! Los integrantes de la banda fueron subiendo uno por uno al escenario y el show dio comienzo con la clásica introducción "Somewhere over the Rainbow" para continuar inmediatamente con "Spotlight Kid" con una interpretación potente y sublime por parte de toda la banda. Uno podía cerrar los ojos e imaginar que estaba frente a la reencarnación de la banda de Ritchie Blackmore. Agradezco que en Sudamérica exista Rising y que gracias a ellos se mantengan vivos los colores del arco iris. Long Live Rising!!
