  • Blue Öyster Cult
      Blue Öyster Cult (often abbreviated BÖC) is an American rock band from Long Island, New York, best known for such hard rock and heavy metal songs as "(Don't Fear) The Reaper", "Godzilla" and "Burnin' for You". Rainbow was the support act on this 1979 US tour that was headlined by Blue Öyster Cult. It seems that Rainbow didn't play the last two weeks of the tour. Rumour said that one of the Rainbow band members was injured in a car accident. A November/December tour through Europe & the U.K was postponed and Rainbow did a US headlining tour instead.

Randy Hansen's Machine Gun was support-act for some shows. A fan report says Randy Hansen closed the show in Los Angeles CA.

      Michael "Cub" Koda was an American rock and roll singer, guitarist, songwriter, disc jockey, music critic, and record compiler. Koda was best known for writing the song "Smokin' in the Boys' Room", that was later covered by Mötley Crüe. Cub Koda & Cadillac Kidz were the support-acts for 3 shows in Royal Oak MI.
