In 2015 Rich Davenport did many interviews in his Rock Show. He spoke with in his show with several rock stars including Joe Lynn Turner, Graham Bonnet, Doogie White and even Ritchie Blackmore & Candice Night. Except for the Doogie White interview they are still available on Mixcloud.


Joe Lynn Turner [1]




Joe Lynn Turner drops in to talk about his imminent solo acoustic tour of the UK, which starts on 1st April, billed as "An Evening With Joe Lynn Turner". Joe also selects tracks from the new Rainbow box set "A Light In The Black", and gives an insight his songwriting partnership with Ritchie Blackmore. Joe also chooses a song from his friend Ronnie Dio's tenure with Rainbow.

The show also clears up part of the myth regarding a version of AC/DC's "Back In Black" on Youtube, allegedly featuring Bon Scott; the track is actually from "Thunderbolt", and AC/DC tribute album released in 1998, and features Joe on vocals.

On this week's show, you can hear the second of two interviews with former Rainbow vocalists to mark the release of the new Rainbow box set, "A Light In The Black 1975-1984", as Graham Bonnet talks in depth about his time with Rainbow, his friendship with his predecessor in the band, Ronnie James Dio, his new solo band, Bonnet, and the release of his previously unissued debut solo album, originally recorded in 1975, but never released until now, as "Private I: The Archives Volume One".

Graham also discusses his band's forthcoming Japanese tour dates with Michael Schenker's Temple of Rock, and you'll hear a selection of tracks from the Rainbow box set, along with a song from "Private I: The Archives Volume One".
