  • Earlier plans for the 1977/78 World Tour, after the Japan Tour, had included Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia and Malaysia though no shows in these territories seem to have been played - or even booked and cancelled.   • And so this era of the band came to what seems an undignified end. The sound problems that had arisen with the rainbow from the outset had returned; the rainbow would go into storage (or, depending on which story you believe, into an ocean!), never to be seen again and it would be more than a year before the band played live again.
